BIO

Prancing in my little briefs as a kid, I loved playing my brother's school trumpet to songs on the radio. I thank my family for never telling me how I really sounded. Along with popular artists, my father's voice encouraged my own. And I witnessed what it means for a singer to be in the song from the late Bonnie Carter, who led the choir in the church of my childhood. Raised in North Carolina, I have returned to my central Pennsylvania birthplace. I am enjoying the journey of merging my academic interests in educational leadership with my passion for writing songs and collaborating with musicians, dancers, poets, and visual artists.
